Class Gradings
Babies and Toddlers (6mths -3 years) classes are graded into 3 levels
B1. Beginner babies and toddlers with parents in the water.  The accent is on water familiarisation and a happy start to the learning process with pupils eventually learning to go underwater and retrieve objects from the pool bottom. Pupils also learn to float independently.

B2. At this level kicking is introduced and pupils learn to leave the side and progress through the water using the legs for propulsion. Pupils also learn to plop in off the side, and regain to the surface and return to the wall unassisted.

B3. At this level pupils learn the art of breathing and once mastered they can move down the pool and cover amazing distances building confidence as they progress. It certainly is an exciting time for proud parents to see their little ones on the way to being so much SAFER in water!

It all starts with our renowned baby and toddler classes with parents and bubs in together. It’s a wonderful happy experience for parents and bubs alike with pupils of similar ages and ability grouped together in small classes. Many mums look forward to it as a social outing, an opportunity to meet new friends and catch up in the coffee shop after lessons. Saturdays and Sundays are particularly popular with dads who get their turn to enjoy this wonderful experience. But of course the real reason people come to Gullivers - and we have lots of second generation pupils, is because of our long standing reputation for getting amazing results. Your baby and toddler will be much “Safer” for having had lessons at Gullivers
$1 Lessons for Aqua Tots Programme
New to Gullivers this summer.
Our Aqua tot’s sessions for tots 3-5 months will give your baby or toddler the perfect start. You pay just one dollar a lesson until they turn six months and become eligible to join in the regular lesson programme. Aqua tot sessions introduce the tots to water in a gentle and fun way. We teach you how to confidently handle your child in the water and explain and demonstrate the teaching processes.
It’s not uncommon for babies to be floating independently or picking up objects from the pool floor at three months of age. Our 35 years experience as one of the nation’s leaders in this field makes it all so easy.
Why you should start you baby early.
Recent studies have found early swimming lessons tend to make your baby smarter, healthier, stronger, better co-ordinated and more likely to develop a higher IQ
